Up-lighting has been used for about the last decade for upscale events, and has been considered to be a luxury addition. These lights used to be heavy, bulky, and would get very hot during use. They were difficult to set-up, were not very energy efficient, and there were limited colors to choose from.

In the last 2-3 years, the use of L.E.D. technology has changed all that! These lights are very lightweight, and they put out little to no heat at all! They are also very energy efficient, using less than 25 watts each in most cases. They can be programmed to illuminate walls, ceilings, pillars or other objects in almost any shade of any color you can imagine! They can also be programmed to change colors, slowly fade from one color to the next, blink in time with the music being played, or chase in sequence.

Most events such as weddings or parties will require about 4 to 8 up-lights to be effective. These lights can set the perfect ambiance or atmosphere for your event. Colors can be programmed to coordinate with your existing décor or theme. They can be used independent of each other, or linked together with a DMX lighting controller to create endless lighting possibilities!
